Your experience sounds fascinating! Engaging in breath awareness or mindfulness exercises allows you to bring your mind into the present moment. Visiting historical places like Wymering Manor can indeed provide a unique and enriching experience. Feeling the ambiance of the building through your breath adds another fantastic dimension to understanding your surroundings.
Practicing breath awareness or meditation can help reduce stress, enhance concentration, and foster a better understanding of the people around you. Such exercises enable you to keep your mind calm and focused. Sketching with closed eyes is also a great way to express your thoughts.
I'm curious to know if there was a specific reason for undertaking this experience, or if it was a spontaneous decision on your part.

I aimed to explore how the divergent atmospheres of silence and noise could influence the manifestation of my inner thoughts through the medium of charcoal strokes. Within the serene confines of my room, a haven where tranquility embraced me like a soothing veil, my drawings projected a profound sense of calm. The strokes took on a deliberate quality, mirroring the unhurried rhythm of my breath, and each line conveyed a gentle echo of the peace enveloping my surroundings.

I experience a sense of connection to the past as I explore the manor's hidden nooks and secret tunnels as if the spirits of those who lived here are leading you through their memories. The walls of the manor whisper stories of love, grief, joy, and sadness, and you can almost hear the echoes of laughter and the murmur of long-forgotten conversations.

A nice description of the work and sensory engagement with the site.
